Rainfall totals could exceed five inches in these regions, which are currently in need of precipitation.

The heaviest rain is expected to arrive by Saturday, affecting areas such as San Diego, Encinitas, Calabasas, and the Hollywood Hills, with drenching rain anticipated during the first half of the day. Flood risk remains high throughout the period, with the main concern areas remaining consistent.

Biggest flood threat will definitely be targeting the greater Los Angeles area, whether you're in Orange County, San Diego County, stretching all the way up into Santa Barbara. All of you have a chance over the next several days to maybe pick up as much as five plus inches of rainfall. And that's actually the area where we need it the most. So let's go ahead and take a look. Today's gonna be wet. Obviously, you need the rain jacket or the umbrella. By the time we head into tonight, reinforcements continuing to come in targeting southern California and that coastline here. Notice only a little bit of blue on the map here in the central Sierra, so not a ton of snow. Um, at least that, you know, you gotta go way up in elevation like I talked about, you know, 8000 ft plus. And then you take a look at your saturday and saturdays when things get interesting, because that's when we get reinforcements of the heaviest rain coming right in through San Diego Encinitas and all the way up into, let's say, like Calabasas, the Hollywood Hills. All of you guys could see seeing drenching rain during the first half of the day saturday. So from a flood perspective today, notice the yellow. I'm gonna move it to tomorrow and the yellow is like in the same place. All right. So again, that's gonna be where we have our best concerns.
