The strike is over and the celebration is on. It's amazing, you know. I'm so thankful to our negotiating committee. And I can't wait to read it all. And this is wild! And look at this crowd. A lot of emotion right now. Everybody here going crazy. Everybody's going crazy for it. You say union, you say power! Union! Power! An explosion of emotions here this 180 long days in the making. Sorry I'm emotional, you know. But we're happy, you know. And we fought long and hard for our union. Most here are strike captains who've walked the line saying folding, giving up was never an option. Union power, baby! That's what I'm talking about! We can't afford to settle for other industries that are going to be impacted by AI. So as long as it takes. And that became our mantra. Especially I'd say the last 30 days. That after the big announcement all of Hollywood has been waiting for. Quote, in a unanimous vote this morning. The SAG AFTRA TV theatrical committee approved a tentative agreement with the AMPTP. Bringing an end to the 118 day strike. The strike officially ends at 12.01am on Thursday, November 9th. We stood up and we voted unanimously. And we clapped and we cried. She's one of the union's top negotiators on a deal said to bring wage increases. And a major agreement on the biggest issue, AI. We've worked really hard. We're really excited about the AI protections and many other things that we fought hard for. Reaction also coming in from LA Mayor Karen Bass. Saying, quote, I am grateful that a fair agreement has been reached between SAG AFTRA and the AMPTP. After a more than 100 day strike that impacted millions in Los Angeles. And with it, a financial impact. Revenue losses said to be in the billions. But in the end, was it all worth it? It was 100% worth it. 100% worth it. In the end, victory baby. Yeah.
