The operations led to the arrest of Eamon Effica, identified as a significant figure in the illegal gun trade, and the seizure of assault rifles, homemade weapons, ammunition, and manufacturing equipment from several properties.

Authorities also apprehended Kevin Yohanna, who was found with homemade firearms and cash, and uncovered an operation believed to be a hub for the production and distribution of illegal weapons. Police state that these actions have disrupted a local organised crime network and prevented large quantities of ammunition from being used in street violence.

His firearms license has been suspended, and he has been charged with very, very serious firearms offences. But he did give up an associate, and soon after, police swooped here at Narellan. Guns drawn, they closed in on a Toyota Hiace in transit. Inside was Kevin Yohanna. Police say in his possession, they found a duffel bag containing more homemade guns, including a foldable rifle, a revolver, numerous rounds of ammunition, and around four grand in cash. Later in the night, police reached the centre of an operation they believe was a hub for moving and making underworld weaponry. After tactical teams moved in on this Arncliffe property, they found an industrial mill, 3D printers, and a large cache of magazines, ammunition, and gun accessories. Products police say were destined to find their way into the hands of gangland triggermen. Hundreds and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. Bullets they've prevented from peppering Sydney suburbs.
