Authorities responded to a 911 hang-up call and found the deceased woman inside the apartment, but have not disclosed the cause of death or the circumstances leading up to the incident.

One individual has been arrested in connection with the case, though police have not released the person's identity or details about their involvement. Officials have stated there is no threat to the public, and the investigation remains active as police continue to search for evidence and await further developments.

we are following some developing news tonight out of Shelby Township. Police are investigating a homicide. A lot of questions that still need answers. A woman found at an apartment building. Fox News Camille and Mary live tonight with the latest Camille. What's going on? Yeah, well, police were actually here for many, many hours. I think they left around five o'clock today, but this call came in around 6 30. So this morning, so they were here for a long time. I want you to take a look at some video, some active scene from late this afternoon when we arrived. Police trying to figure out exactly how this happened and really, like you said, not giving us a lot of information. As you said, we know that a female was found deceased in an apartment here at the Lakeside Park Apartments in Shelby Township, right off of Hayes. We know that the woman was found inside, but we don't know how she was killed and we don't know the circumstances leading up to this. We know that one person has been arrested. We don't know who this person is, but police are saying that there is no threat to the public right now. Meanwhile, they tell us that around 6 30 this morning, they got a 911 hang up call and they they're telling us there were some suspicious circumstances surrounding that 911 call, but not going into detail. So throughout this afternoon, while we were here going into early evening, we saw police, obviously a large presence of police inside the apartment and then searching the dumpster of the apartment complex right near the building and taking away a lot of trash bags. Of course, that looking for evidence. But again, they're not telling us how this person was killed. Are they looking for what kind of evidence? Are they looking for a weapon? What exactly is the goal here? But of course, an active investigation. They're really not sharing a lot of information with us, but we hope to learn more Monday, especially about the suspect. And once that suspect is arraigned, we'll be able to find out who he or she is and hopefully what the motive was and the circumstances surrounding this homicide. Yeah, Camille, this just illustrates that when police get those 911 calls, they really never know exactly what they're getting into. Highlighting that here. Yeah, absolutely. And you know, we tried to talk to neighbors. Nobody wanted to talk on camera. A lot of people didn't answer their door when we knocked on it. I talked to one person. He said he didn't hear or see anything. I talked to another woman who said she was absolutely shocked that this happened. Uh, even though I told her there's no danger to the public, she still says this is not someplace she wants to be with her Children. Like, it's just she just feels uncomfortable, I guess is a good word for it. So we will, of course, have more information as the story continues to develop. But for now, I'll send it back to you.
