Strange things could unfold in Abu Dhabi as all three title hopefuls are set to start alongside each other. Max Verstappen to clean pole. Verstappen secured pole position by two tenths over Lando Norris. Crucially, he's ahead of his teammate. With Oscar Piastri to line up third for tomorrow morning's Grand Prix. There wasn't much left at that one, so thanks. My lap was pretty good and I think Lando's lap was pretty good. So I think that was more or less all we had. We didn't quite just have the speed in the car today, so yeah, tough one to take. In last year's race, Piastri and Verstappen collided on the opening lap. The Aussie is expecting similar chaos. Yes, funny things can happen. All out. I have nothing to lose, so for me, of course, I'm going to try to win the race. I'm going to defend. If I need to attack, I'll attack. I can't imagine Max is just going to sit there and let them all, you know, drive off into the sunset and finish one, two, three. Championship leader Norris needs to finish on the podium to win a maiden world title. Verstappen sits 12 points behind, but Piastri has the steepest climb, trailing by 16 points. We want to go out there and win. And we know, of course, even if we win, we need a bit more luck. But let's hope on a bit of Abu Dhabi magic. Magic. Piastri also needs to become Australia's first Formula One world champion in 45 years. Bring on what's probably going to be the coolest day of my career tomorrow.
