The parents, Allison and Jonathan, expressed dissatisfaction with the school district's response, which concluded there was no threat to the school. The family has decided to seek legal action, stating that the district's measures were insufficient and that other parents should be made aware of the situation.

The bullying now taking a disturbing turn within the last few weeks as a threatening video is circulating. Megan Lee sat down with the family. They want to get the word out and hold their school district accountable. This disturbing video was sent to a group of fifth grade students at Banting Elementary School in Waukesha over Thanksgiving break. It's terrifying. We blurred out the names on the video, however, Allison Navarra tells us her son is the one that it's directed towards. It makes me want to cry that the thought that he is in fifth grade and dealing with this. This video shows stick figures beating up her son, and then it's followed by a movie character holding a gun. From my interpretation of it, I mean, it's threatening. It's not only a threat to my son, but a threat to the school. Her son, who we're keeping anonymous, scared for his life. I was scared to go to school. I mean, I didn't want to go to school just in case. I mean, what happens if he actually does bring a gun? The family tells me this isn't the first time their son has had issues with the student who sent the video. However, this has gone way too far. I reached out to the school district, and a spokesperson tells me they did a comprehensive investigation and found no threat to Banting Elementary School. What does that mean to you when you hear that? I mean, that's devastating. It hurts you. And I mean, it makes you angry. The fifth grader's dad, Jonathan, says this email was sent out to other fifth grade parents Monday morning. However, he doesn't think it's enough. If it was me, I wanted the kid charged. Jonathan's so disturbed by this video that he sent us an email on behalf of he and Allison. Why did you reach out to us at TMJ4? Because the school's not doing enough about it, and I do feel that parents need to be alerted. The district tells me they can't comment on any disciplinary actions.
