It could be slow going for thousands of students looking to get to class because of a possible strike by Union school bus drivers. They got some big issues there. Around 150,000 public school students rely on school buses. So just about a fraction of the city's whole entire population. But still, we're talking about 100,000 kids and a strike would impact just over half of them. If drivers do walk off the job, go on strike. The city will help families with emergency Metro cards and reimburse families forced to use taxis or ride share.
