Saturday night in an unremarkable English town and armed police surround a stopped train. The scene of a mass stabbing the British Prime Minister has labelled appalling. I had guys suddenly run past going, run, run, there's a guy stabbing literally everyone and everything. At first, there was a few of us kind of looking at each other like thinking, was it a joke, it's Halloween, I'd be pranking. Two men went from carriage to carriage attacking passengers. Ten people are in hospital, almost all left with life-threatening injuries. There's three people severely bleeding and one guy's holding his stomach and there's blood coming down his stomach, down his leg, and he's just going, help, help, I'm being stabbed. This man, covered in blood and clutching his arm. Where is that guy? Among those fleeing, others struggled to escape as victims fell around them. We couldn't progress further down the train, away from the suspect, because that person ended up collapsing. It happened on the 6.25pm service from Doncaster to London's King's Cross. Around an hour into the trip, the stabbing spree began. The train diverted to Huntingdon. Luckily, the local police headquarters is close, only minutes away. The swiftness of the response and the number of police officers who were on the scene when I arrived was simply staggering. Two men have been arrested, but the motive for the rampage isn't clear. A lot of shaken people, a lot of people were just, I think, maybe just a bit confused, really, about what was going on. I think they were concerned to get out of there as quickly as possible. Counter-terrorism police are now investigating as the UK reels from yet another knife attack. I think it's really had a really unsettling effect on the community. Two more suspects, a man and a woman arrested this week over the jewel heist at the Louvre, have been charged and remanded in custody, prosecutors have said. The charges on Saturday brought the number of people now charged over the spectacular robbery to four.
