Law enforcement is monitoring the situation and may require evacuations if conditions deteriorate. The saturated ground means it will not take much additional rain to trigger more flooding, and the atmosphere remains primed for further storm development.

More rain expected Sunday in hard hit Texas

Unfortunately, we've got more rain that is in the forecast for today. Flooding remains a threat, especially by the afternoon. Things may really intensify in terms of some of the storms, which means heavy rainfall on an area that's already saturated. Not going to take much to trigger more floodings. That remains another concern. We went through a roadblock this morning where law enforcement was was checking who was going through and they chatted with us. They mentioned, Okay, you can be where you are. But if we have heavy rain again, we have to have you evacuate. Totally understand, especially when you look back at the past of those, those again, all those polygons you showed a second ago that we showed you just where we had the flood warnings, but also the flash flood emergencies and with this moisture, which is still overwhelming across parts of Texas. I mean, you can feel it in the air this morning. You know, a lot of times when you have a frontal boundary that moves through kind of scours out the atmosphere, kind of cleans things out. Not the case here. Still a very, very damp, very primed atmosphere, kelly. And there's the chance we could deal with more of this going forward. Back to you.
