Iran President backs public attacks on women

Iranian women condemned a recent attack of a man dumping yogurt on an unveiled mother and daughter in a shop believed to be in Shandiz, near the northeastern city of Mashhad. But after the attack, President Ebrahim Raisi re-iterated that wearing the hijab is law in Iran, adding (quote) "If some people say they don't believe (in the hijab)... it's good to use persuasion."
