Officials confirmed that a previous call between the two leaders occurred, during which they discussed the Gaza peace plan and ongoing trade negotiations. The ministry clarified that the leaders agreed to stay in touch but did not mention Russian oil as a topic of discussion.

This statement comes amid speculation about the nature of recent communications between the two leaders. The ministry's comments emphasize that, according to their records, no such conversation about Russian oil has taken place recently.
