Margie Schwartz is flight also canceled. She was in town for a Marine Corps reunion. Now she's looking at a later flight with a layover. She's hoping to be home by midnight and I won't get in. Which time? Tell me about 11. So traveling alone at my age, that's not fun, but I don't have a choice. People we talked to you say they feel for government workers impacted by the shutdown. I think that working without pay is very detrimental. The H. E. C. We all know it's like one of the most stressful jobs and safety is first. So I have no blame for the airlines. I mean, they're, they can do what they have to do. So others can't help but feel frustrated that the shutdown has lasted this long. I think it's a disgrace to be honest with you, whether it be democrat or republican, you know, I think they should do more for the people versus us doing for them all the time and paying them. People have lives to live. Let's let's figure some stuff out here. Yeah. American Airlines released a statement this afternoon urging the Senate and the House to immediately pass the bill that would reopen the government saying in part quote for 40 days, federal aviation workers haven't been paid and our customers have endured thousands of delays and cancellations due to the government shutdown. It is imperative that we get the hard working aviation safety and security professionals paid and then we get the country moving again reporting from Philadelphia International Airport back to you.
