Now Anthropic says it marked a shift from what it previously described as vibe hacking where humans were still directing the attack. But in this case, AI was very much in the driver's seat, finding weak spots, breaking in, stealing sensitive data, and doing it all with barely any human involvement. Anthropic says this is a turning point warning that AI has moved from assistant to operator and unless defenders adopt the same tech, they risk falling behind. But I will say, Mel, a rare bright spot is cyber insurance. Names like AIG, Chubb, and Travelers moved higher after the report.
