Trump faces 34 counts related to a $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels intended to prevent her from publicly disclosing a story that could have impacted his 2016 presidential campaign. Trump continues to deny any wrongdoing, including any affair with Daniels, and has accused President Biden of rigging the trial.

Additionally, a press conference organized by the Biden campaign featured actor Robert De Niro and former law enforcement officers who defended the US Capitol on January 6th. De Niro criticized Trump, claiming he poses a threat to the country if re-elected. The event saw clashes between Trump protesters and De Niro, resulting in heated exchanges.

Right outside the courthouse, a press conference was organized by the Biden campaign and it was held by actor and New Yorker Robert De Niro, as well as two former law enforcement officers who defended the US Capitol on January 6th. De Niro simply says that Trump wants to destroy not only the city, but the country and that he will not leave and that Americans can take the freedoms that we take for granted and that we can kiss them goodbye if he is reelected. Now, Trump protesters screamed profanities at De Niro and as the actor tried to leave, they blocked his car. De Niro first tried to be civil, but then responded in kind.
