Dash cam video shows the moment a delivery courier collided with a nine year old boy in Brooklyn. The worker took off leaving behind his order and the injured child on the street. Now the search is on for the person responsible for that hit-and-run. Police say it happened at about 530 last night on Harrison Avenue in Williamsburg. The boy had just gotten off a school bus and was crossing the street when he was hit by a man on two wheels. Cops cordoned off the street with crime scene tape as the school bus remains nearby with its hazards on. Sky Fox video showing the aftermath from above. The delivery courier who works for Uber Eats ditched his to-go order from a local pizza shop and took off. A green bag and a pizza box sat out on the street surrounded by investigators. The nine-year-old boy was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he is conscious, alert and in stable condition. An Uber spokesperson says former law enforcement professionals are on call to work with police 24-7 and added that the company will assist in this investigation. That spokesperson writing in a statement, the reported details are reprehensible and our thoughts are with the young boy and his family as he recovers.
