The National Hurricane Center is keeping an eye on a tropical wave located about 1000 miles southeast of the Lesser Antilles. Conditions appear unfavorable for development at this time as it moves west across the Atlantic. However, computer models do show heavy rain impacting the Lesser Antilles by the middle of the week.

Meteorologists are monitoring a weather system moving off Africa toward the Lesser Antilles, but the National Hurricane Center has assessed only a 10% chance of tropical development. Despite the system traveling over warm waters, strong wind shear across the Caribbean and western Atlantic is expected to prevent significant strengthening.

Both the American and European weather models predict that the system will encounter increasingly hostile atmospheric conditions, likely causing it to dissipate. The primary impact anticipated is rainfall in the Lesser Antilles, with little risk of the system developing into a tropical cyclone.

So the models are saying, Hey, we see this low and we're going to follow this low as it moves towards lesser into is giving rain there, but then fast westerly start to kind of sheer it apart. So it's moving into more hostile environment and both models, both the European. Now this is the American. They pick up on this low and both kind of sheer it apart as well.
