Cameroon has fired its national football coach following elimination from 2026 World Cup qualifying and just weeks before the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The new coach, David Pagu, has left out captain Vincent Aboubakar and goalkeeper Andre Onana from the squad announced for the tournament in Morocco.
