Northern and central California are threatened with another heavy storm, one of several rain and snow storms that have walloped the state and caused severe flooding.

California braces for more wild weather, flooding

Really hard hit areas right now, we're on the Central Coast Monterey County, which if you've driven up, the closest is between Los Angeles and San Francisco, just south of San Francisco. In this is not the only area facing it. It's one of the hardest hit areas but throughout Northern California near the Sierra Nevadas of central California the San Francisco Bay Area. All these areas are being hit. Remember we had snow a couple of weeks ago, very heavy snow and the atmospheric River this latest one, which is just as a weekend began has caused much of the snow to melt. So, not only do you get the rainfall, you get the melting snow and this is just been a very difficult combination. There are two deaths which may be Next to this right now, but basically officials are telling people if you live near the Raging Rivers, or these newly, created Raging Rivers, if you live near creeks or streams and just get out if there, if you can, that's the best advice people are being given right now.
