You make so many decisions a day, you know, working on a show like this, and you don't want to have the fear that if you make the wrong decision, everyone loses their job. That's an uncomfortable amount of stakes, I would say, but it does make you sharper. I think it adds a little adrenaline. It's that emergency room vibe where it might be the stupidest thing if we're in the avid editing suite and we're moving a fart two frames to the left or to the right, but you know what? At that moment, where that fart goes is like, feels life-threatening and life-saving. Well, I'm very excited to talk to you today. I'm a big Bob's Burgers fan. I wanted to talk to you kind of about the journey of the show. You guys just hit your 300th episode this season. It's been such a long journey there. I mean, I've been watching your stuff since Home Movies, so I'm curious what that journey has been like to go to this totally different setup, and now you're 300 episodes in. 302. Yeah. In some ways, if you want to talk about Home Movies, in some ways, it's very similar. It's just bigger. The spirit of it is very similar. The idea of getting together with your friends and making a show is very much what Bob's is and was when we started, and that is what Home Movies was. In a lot of ways, we feel like we've snuck onto broadcast television. It's like a cable show, an adult swim show, a small thing that somehow got to be on after The Simpsons 15 years ago. I am so glad that what I perceive is that it's true, but that the audience was there. They were ready for us. Somehow, cable and network TV arrived at the right moment for us to be able to do our thing. That's what's been so cool about it. I remember when I first started watching it, I was like, I love this show, and it felt like it was just mine. In a weird way, it still feels that way, even though it is immensely popular. Yes. When you first started watching the show, it was just yours. It was just me tuning in. It was a beautiful time. In a lot of ways, it was scary because we weren't a hit right out of the gate. That's a beautiful thing for those that have experienced it. I have not. For those that have experienced it, it means you're on a rocket that you're taking off, and you're going to know that you have your future assured. What Bob's was, I would call it maybe a bubble show. It wasn't a disaster, but it wasn't a rating smash. I liked those days, and I'll say why. I don't like it from the point of view of just the sheer fear. I will say something about you, early fans. That was also amazing. For us to know that we were just starting out, but that we could still pack the room at Comic-Con, it meant a lot to us. It meant a lot to the network and the studio too. They were witness to not necessarily these buffo ratings, but incredible love. That became clear to me that the studio and the network, they're not just cold-hearted business people. They're not. They want to put on something that people love. When it became clear that we had passionate fans, even though we weren't a ratings hit, I saw the network and the studio basically say something along the lines of, don't worry. We'll try and keep you on the air. We want this. This is what we want, when the fans react like this. Thank you. Thank you to you, early fans. You helped make it possible for us to be here now.
