An Australian windsurfer lived to share how he escaped a shark that bit part of his board off and chased him. CBS News' Errol Barnett reports.

Australian windsurfer Andy McDonald survived a shark attack while windsurfing near Margaret River, Western Australia. The incident, which was captured on footage, showed the 61-year-old being knocked off his board and pulled underwater by the shark, which also took a large bite out of his board.

McDonald described the encounter as feeling like being hit by a freight train and recounted fighting off the shark before escaping. Despite the harrowing experience, he has already ordered a new board and intends to resume windsurfing.
