There's not only a need here locally but really across the country. Nationwide the blood supply is dropped by about 25% and there are a few reasons why that is the case. First and foremost, as you mentioned, typically at the end of summer this is something that we see. First of all, a lot of families take their summer vacations and are busy because of the back-to-school travel season, things of that nature. But this year the problem was really exacerbated because of Hurricane Adelia. That prompted the cancellation of about a dozen blood drives. The American Red Cross says in order to meet the needs of hospitals and transfusion centers across the country, it needs to collect 12,500 donations every day. The greatest need is for platelet and type O blood. Things are happening every day and people are going through things every single day so it's important that we just don't overlook this and that we try to help out. I know it matters for those who are in the hospital, thank you, and those who might be seeking medical treatment and it's something really simple and easy that I can do within 30 minutes. This year the Red Cross has changed how it screens donors and opened up donor eligibility to gay and bisexual men. Now all potential donors are asked the same screening questions regardless of their gender or sexual orientation.
