Following the passage of Erin, meteorologists are monitoring a series of tropical waves in the Atlantic Ocean. Some of these waves show potential for development, though current conditions such as dry air and wind shear are limiting rapid organization. 

One tropical wave, currently battling dry air and wind shear, is not expected to organize quickly but may have an opportunity to strengthen as conditions become more favorable. Another robust wave farther east is also being watched, though it too will face environmental challenges. Forecasts suggest that any new storm is likely to remain farther out at sea compared to Erin, with possible impacts on areas like Bermuda, but wind shear may keep its intensity lower.
