As more Australians return to the office either part or full time, physiotherapists are reporting an increase in patients presenting with back issues. Now, thanks to a new mobile physiotherapy offering from WiSE Medical, some businesses are giving their employees the chance to get treated in the office during their work day.

In-office physiotherapy sessions are being offered to busy city workers as they return to their desks. According to physiotherapists like Rhys Jones, the number of patients presenting with back issues has increased. Contributing factors include poor ergonomic choices, such as chair, mouse, and keyboard selection, as well as the positioning of computer monitors.

In response to these challenges, WiSE Medical is trialling a new mobile physiotherapy service in Sydney's Barangaroo precinct. This service allows physiotherapists to visit offices and treat employees during their workday. Dr. Pankaj Arora, founder of WiSE Medical, emphasises the importance of convenience and accessibility in healthcare, especially for those with busy schedules.

WiSE Medical's new service is part of a broader effort to provide comprehensive health support to city workers. In addition to physiotherapy, WiSE Medical offers mobile pathology collection and telehealth services, allowing employees to access healthcare without leaving the office. Dr. Arora believes that making healthcare accessible and convenient can improve employee productivity and overall workplace satisfaction.
