French prosecutors are probing a terror motive after a man who had posted racist videos shot dead his Tunisian neighbour and badly wounded a Turkish man in the south of France.

French prosecutors are investigating a fatal shooting in Puget-sur-Argens, southern France, as a possible racially motivated terror attack. A 53-year-old French resident allegedly shot and killed his 45-year-old Tunisian neighbor, Yishem, and wounded a Turkish man. The suspect was arrested at the scene, where police found firearms in his car. 

Authorities report that the suspect had posted videos online calling for violence against North Africans, and anti-terrorist prosecutors have taken over the case. The investigation is focusing on murder for reasons of race, ethnicity, or religion, and the suspect remains in custody for questioning.
