Andrew Carr, a 49-year-old amateur climber and professional French horn player, has completed the challenge of reaching the highest point in each of Florida's 67 counties. Inspired by the tradition of 'county high pointing,' Carr used maps, apps, and sightlines to locate and visit each peak, despite Florida's reputation as the flattest state in the US.

Carr's journey took him from public parks to private yards and even a shopping mall, culminating in a 345-foot ascent at the state's highest hill. He emphasizes that the spirit of adventure is not limited by geography, stating that 'every peak is equal' and that attitude is more important than altitude.
